Welcome to Session III!

 It's hard to believe we're about to begin our third session ~ it seems like winter has just begun!  This issue of "Extra Time" is packed with information on Session III Futsal and 7v7 as well as upcoming events at The Soccer Center over the next two months.

League Updates ~ Space Still Available!

 Registrations ~ We have openings in the leagues listed below and would love to have you join in the fun!  If you would like to enter, contact Jim Goudie right away ~ 872-8866, ext. 203 or jimgoudie@thesoccercenter.org.

 Schedules ~ League schedules can be found by clicking on the LARGE ORANGE 'Schedules, Scores & Standings' button right on the front page of www.thesoccercenter.org.  After clicking on the 'Schedules, Scores & Standings' button, click on Futsal or 7v7, then click on the league in which your team is entered.  We expect to post schedules for session III approximately one week prior to the first game.  Monitor the Schedules, Scores & Standings page on a regular basis for any possible schedule changes and the latest scores and standings for your league.

Registration & Payment ~ Every team must have submitted their roster via "eRegister" (our online registration system) and payment, IN FULL, was due by March 1.  If you have not submitted payment, please do so right away.  All teams/players must be paid in order to participate in session III.  It is the team manager or coach’s responsibility to ensure that:

• the team is paid in full

• all players are registered (paid either the $4 or $15 registration fee)

• all players have completed waiver forms on file at The Soccer Center

Championship T-shirts ~ The Soccer Center awards championship t-shirts to the winners of leagues where that particular league has a sponsor.  The leagues listed below have sponsors for session III and championship t-shirts will be awarded to the winning teams in each bracket.

St. Paddy's Day Futsal ~ March 17
 

Win a "Pot-O-Gold" at our next tournament!  That's right!   We've put some "shenanigans" into our upcoming St. Patrick's Day Tournament with $500 in prize money up for grabs.  The Lincoln Inn St. Paddy's Day Futsal Tournament will be held on Saturday, March 17th with Men’s Open and Women’s Open divisions. The winning team from each division will win $350 in cash and a $150 coupon from The Lincoln Inn to be used for food or beverages.  Each team is guaranteed three 25-minute games and the cost is $250 per team.

The registration deadline is March 10^th so don't delay!  We expect a lot of interest, locally and from out of state, as teams hope the 'luck of the Irish' is with them this St. Paddy's Day!  Thanks to The Lincoln Inn for their sponsorship of this exciting event!

New Town Teams Tourney ~ April 14

 We have added one more event to our calendar ~ a Town Teams Tournament!  This exciting new event will be held on Saturday, April 14 and is ideal preparation for the outdoor season.  This tournament is open to all U8, U10, U12 and U14 boys and girls’ town teams.  Save the date and plan to join us for this exciting Spring event.
