Session III Registration Guidelines

 Deadline coming soon! We are anticipating Session III to be our busiest and expect most leagues to be more than full as teams prepare to head outside for Spring soccer. The deadline for registering teams for Session III is Tuesday, February 20.  We strongly recommend that teams eRegister as soon as possible!

 View game dates! As you put your teams together, be sure to inform players of the dates on which your games will be played.  Futsal leagues are a six week schedule and start on Tuesday, March 6 and continue through Monday, April 16. The 7v7 leagues are a five week schedule with games going from Saturday, March 10 through Tuesday, April 17.  Note:  some 7v7 leagues may have a game on an alternate day or in the North building.  Please check the Session III pages and notify your players.

 How to register!  Every team must eRegister (register online) for the 3^rd session, making sure to include your contact information and roster.  Payment, IN FULL, must be received by March 1.  Teams that do not include their roster and full payment will not be accepted.

 New simplified eRegistration form!  Our eRegistration process automatically enters your team and roster into a database that is used to maintain the league paperwork.  It's very important that you register online and include all requested data even if you have played in the first 2 sessions.  We have simplified the form so you only have to enter your contact data and players names.  If you are adding players that have not previously played at The Soccer Center in the first 2 sessions, please indicate that they are "new" players.  Notify them that they must complete the required Waiver Form and pay the registration/insurance fee ($4-Youth, $15-Adult-19 and over).

 Outstanding Balances must be paid.  Any teams or individuals that have an outstanding balance from the first two sessions will not be accepted into the third session without full payment for all three sessions by the payment deadline (March 1).  The Soccer Center staff has spent many hours following up past due amounts for sessions I & II.  It is the team manager or coach’s responsibility to ensure that:

• the team is paid in full

• all players are registered (paid either the $4 or $15 registration fee)

• all players have completed waiver forms on file at The Soccer Center

Used Soccer Equipment ~ Thanks!

 Thank-you very much to everyone who donated used soccer gear over the past few weeks.  Good Luck and Bon Voyage to Wendy Elles, The Soccer Center Assistant Manager, as she heads off to Tanzania on February 15 for a mid-winter break.  Wendy will climb Mount Kilimanjaro, go on a jungle safari and run soccer clinics at a orphanage where she will be handing over all the donated soccer gear.

Upcoming Tournaments

Win a "Pot-O-Gold" at our next tournament!  That's right!   We've put some "shenanigans" into our upcoming St. Patrick's Day Tournament with $500 in prize money up for grabs.  The Lincoln Inn St. Paddy's Day Futsal Tournament will be held on Saturday, March 17th with Men’s Open and Women’s Open divisions. The winning team from each division will win $350 in cash and a $150 coupon from The Lincoln Inn to be used for food or beverages.  Each team is guaranteed three 25-minute games and the cost is $250 per team.

The registration deadline is March 10^th but enter early ~ we expect a lot of interest, locally and from out of state, as teams hope the 'luck of the Irish' is with them this St. Paddy's Day!  Thanks to The Lincoln Inn for their sponsorship of this exciting event!

Attention High Schoolers!  Mark Saturday, March 31 on your calendars!  The Soccer Center is proud to host the Windjammer Best Western High School College Showcase for college-aspiring U16 and U17 boys and girls teams from throughout the New England region.  Over a dozen colleges have committed to attending and we expect more as we get closer to the date.  Don't miss this opportunity to be seen by a college coach, right here at The Soccer Center.  Special thanks to The Windjammer Best Western for their sponsorship of this tournament.

 New Tourney ~ just for Town Teams!  We have added one more event to our calendar ~ a Town Teams Tournament!  This exciting new event will be held on Saturday, April 14 and is ideal preparation for the outdoor season.  This tournament is open to all U8, U10, U12 and U14 boys and girls’ town teams.  Save the date and plan to join us for this exciting Spring event.
