The Buzz at The Soccer Center |
 |
Happy Spring to all our players, coaches, managers and
readers! This issue of “Extra Time” contains all
the information on current and upcoming events at
The
Soccer Center. We are just beginning of
Session III and
the
big
news is the launch of TSC’s new leagues!
The Soccer Moms', Town
Teams, and the College League offer great
opportunities for players to participate. With over
1,000 players participating in the leagues and fans
attending the matches, The Soccer
Center is the place to be where everyone knows
your name. For many players, it has become a home away
from home.
Where everybody knows your name; the
camaraderie—and the competition—TSC creates an
environment of soccer fun. TSC is a place where people
can play soccer and connect with friends.
To all our friends in soccer, have a great Session III! |

SOCCER
MOMS' LEAGUE |
The Soccer Moms'
League is celebrating its first session at
The Soccer
Center.
What an incredible 2 weeks it has been! The response we have
received has been overwhelming and we thank everyone
involved.
Free of flash and fanfare,
the real emphasis of this treasured, tucked-away soccer
league is fun and friendliness. A group of soccer moms from
the Far Post U12 girl’s team created a team to get to know
one another better but soon found the rewards were much
bigger. Now, with six
teams competing in the Soccer Moms' League, it’s more about
developing an understanding of their children’s successes
and failures in soccer and appreciating both the spirit of
the game and the warm familiarity of playing with buddies.
The minute you step inside
The Soccer Center on a
Wednesday night, you can hear the cheers and laughter, see
the smiles, and feel the excitement and enthusiasm. Players
and fans from other fields have grown envious of the buzz
coming from field 3. And as for the ‘soccer is not for me’
attitude, some of the soccer moms boast a dramatic
improvement and warmly challenge their children.
Become a part of the excitement! Plan to enter your
Soccer Moms team next year!!!
